Compromise

Compromise: A way of reaching agreement in which each person or group gives up something that was wanted in order to end an argument or dispute.

This is something that could have gone a long way in slowing or curtailing Inflation and rampant illegal immigration.

For example, the Democrats could have slowed down their mad rush re Climate Change and allowed for supply and demand to dictate EV’s and not mandate impossible time limits. No compromise…my way or the high way.

There was no compromise in allowing Open Borders to bring in millions of illegals comprising human trafficking, death dealing fentanyl and terrorists to infiltrate America at a cost of $billions…free housing, free healthcare and more. This is now affecting the recovery from hurricane Helene’s horrific damages and loss of life.

Didn’t President Biden run on bringing America together and especially the Congress…he was going to reach across the aisle, but alas, no compromise.

Negotiations involve compromise or else little gets done.

We all learned compromise and sharing and fairness in Kindergarten. Remember Robert Fulghum’s best seller “All I really need to know I learned in Kindergarten.” He talked about Sharing, Fairness and Clean up your mess to name a few.

I guess some of us haven’t learned yet.
