Intentions
We all have intentions as in we intend to do something but don’t follow through. We have good intentions to stop smoking, for example, but can’t seem to stop…or we have good intentions to call a sick friend but never get around to it.
Intentions may be good but it’s the actions that count. The Democrats’ intentions to include everyone may have come from being fair and meaningful but when you enact laws to include DEI you will find that you can’t legislate morality. In fact, you find out that it is indeed harmful to those who would otherwise qualify on merit but are passed over due to the idea of good intentions. The same may be why they were for trans biological men competing against women in girls’ sports. Good intentions support the minority against the common sense wishes of the majority of women.
The Democrats may have good intentions about climate change and how to be effective by going all-electric, etc. but they would be destroying the economy while not saving the planet. A few quotes about intentions:
“The smallest deed is better than the greatest intention.”
“The road to hell is paved with good intentions.”
This seems to be one of the meaningful differences between the past administration and the current one which is acting and making things happen…and at breakneck speed.
