Is it Necessary?

Listening to the two candidates vie for President is like listening to a car salesman trying to close a deal. I’ll give you this if you buy now. Or a mobile telecom offering this discount and that discount if you sign on to their system, even paying off your old system.

If you vote for me there will be no tax on tips. If you vote for me I will give you $25,000 to buy your first home. If you vote for me I will give you (if you are Black) $20,000 as a loan, which you don’t have to repay. If you vote for me I will not tax Social Security. If you vote for me there will be no taxes on overtime earnings. Notice how certain selected groups are being courted. At least no tax on Social Security goes for everyone on Medicare.

They mostly sound like bribes to me.

What about just tell me your policies and how that is best for America and my pocketbook.

It’s almost like who can promise the most free stuff wins.

Don’t tell me what you would have done, only what you have done and what you plan to do as President if it is approved by the Congress and then the Senate.

Tell me your plans and how you can achieve them, don’t give me pie in the sky.

The free stuff that was Biden/Harris has ruined the incentive and work ethic of many Americans. Have we gone soft?
