Rebuilding

With the desolation and destruction razing our Southern California cities to ashes due to uncontrolled fire, how long will it take to rebuild? How long will it take to rebuild Gaza or Ukraine?

I checked to see how long it took to rebuild Hiroshima and Nagasaki after the Atomic Bomb erased them to ashes. It took 2 years to rebuild Hiroshima and longer for Nagasaki. By the mid-1950s (10 years) the two cities returned to the same size as they were in August 1945.

The point here is that it can be done as it has in the past. I wondered where those displaced went while their cities were being rebuilt. Most people were displaced to temporary shelters within their communities with many living with relatives in nearby towns, or in government-provided housing camps while reconstruction took place.

Who better to oversee rebuilding than President Trump, a renowned builder with vast experience and success in the construction industry? He will reduce government red tape to expedite recovery more quickly.
