Same old, same old

It seems our government is threatened every so many months with a shutdown.

Both Parties need to rethink how they handle this in the future so that they are not in a position to be shutdown.

They are supposed to be smart and govern for the American people but it appears that they are for themselves first, constituency next, and America last.

How in the world do you expect anyone to read a 1,500-page document in such a short time? Is it like Nancy Pelosi said, “support it first and read it later”. This is absurd.

Everyone wants something and all the added Pork creates an impossible situation.

As Sgt. Friday on the TV show, Dragnet, used to say, “just the facts ma’am”

Each Party blames the other to get the edge in the upcoming elections.

If you want to add dollars to the budget, show where you are cutting back on other spending so as not to keep increasing our debt.

No one wants to be the one cut or the department discontinued but you have to start trimming the fat. No pain no gain.

Everyone needs an increase in salary at least commensurate to the cost of living increases but if you are not doing the job should you still get the raise?

We, the people pay taxes which pay for the government salaries. They should be more accommodating to us instead of the same old, same old.
